This course has been designed to give any equestrian including Therapists, Saddle Fitters, Riding Coaches, Trainers and Horse Owners beneficial training in selecting the correct bit/bridle for their horse as this has a definite impact not only on equine performance, biomechanics, injury prevention but welfare too.
The course covers how to select the correct bit according to the horse and its requirements. This is a more complex process than many people think and involves mouth conformation, horse preferences, tongue thickness and much more. Ridden, behavioural and musculoskeletal problems can often be rectified from correct bitting.
